Who may supply: A pharmacist dispensing against a written or verbal prescription from an authorised prescriber; a veterinarian, who may also prescribe, compound or dispense it directly; a medical practitioner or dentist, who may prescribe it and may compound or dispense it directly only if licensed under section 22C(1)(a); manufacturers and wholesalers may supply people who may lawfully possess it; and, for animal treatment, a person practising a para-veterinary profession, on a veterinarian's written or verbal instruction.

- except subject thereto that it shall only be supplied for the control of problem predatory mammals - (i) on a written prescription issued by a State Veterinarian, for use in the particular State Veterinarian’s area of jurisdiction, and in a quantity not exceeding 5 grams; and (ii) subject to the State Veterinarian obtaining prior written approval for such use from the Director of the concerned provincial conservation institution or authority in his area of jurisdiction, a copy of such written approval being attached to the written prescription
